As pastry chef and owner, Daniel leads the team at lucettegrace. Born and raised in Valparaiso, Indiana, his route to Raleigh was a journey of winding roads taking him from coast to coast and back again. Daniel worked for some of the country’s best pastry chefs in New York, Florida, San Francisco, Chicago, New Orleans and Washington, D.C.

Named after Daniel’s two daughters, lucettegrace is the latest chapter for a pastry chef who has spent the past 15 years in some of the finest kitchens across America. With roots firmly planted in Raleigh, Daniel creates a style of pastry built on tradition, but uniquely realized for the capital city as it is today.
