An award-winning food writer, recipe developer, and cooking teacher, Sheri is known for melding storytelling, humor, and culinary expertise. She's authored seven cookbooks and contributed to dozens more. Her favorite is The New Southern Garden Cookbook: Recipes for Enjoying the Best from Homegrown Gardens, Farmers' Markets, Roadside Stands and CSA Farm Boxes, named 2012 Cookbook of the Year by the Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance. She writes regularly for several magazines and is a Contributing Editor for Southern Living. This summer the Southern Foodways Alliance named her one of Twenty Southern Food Legends.
