Nancie is a food writer, cooking teacher, food and travel blogger, and cookbook author. Nominated for a James Beard award in journalism, she is a regular contributor to Southern Living and Fine Cooking and the author of 14 cookbooks. She loves home cooking, food history, Southern food and the traditions of Asia, where she spent three years in Thailand as a Peace Corps volunteer. A frequent guest on Home & Family on the Hallmark Channel, she is a graduate of UNC.
