Kether and her family own Cedar Grove Blueberry Farm just north of Hillsborough, NC. After experimenting with homemade Kombucha, beer and fermented vegetables, she received a cider certificate from Cornell University. Crafting a variety of barrel-aged and stainless steel dry wines and cider, Botanist and Barrel and the B&B tasting room are beautifully situated on the farm. 

As organic farmers, Botanist and Barrel believes in using only the finest southeastern grown fruits, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, peaches and apples. The team subscribes to light-handed winemaking, using centuries-old techniques, allowing the fruits, yeast and barrels that are carefully selected to be vivid and expressive.
